A video editor that never uploads your files

Bulkut is a free video editor that runs entirely in your browser: FFmpeg is compiled to WebAssembly and executed on your own machine, so your footage is never sent to a server.

    Autocut: silence removal

FFmpeg detects silences and removes them in a single pass, with a threshold, before/after margins and a minimum clip duration — globally or per video.

    Fastcut, reverse and splitter

Trim an exact excerpt with timecodes, reverse a clip with its audio, or export several segments of the same video at once.

    Collage and intro/outro

Join clips in any order, add a shared intro and outro, and watch the final duration update as you edit the list.

    Editor timelines

Export the cut as a Premiere Pro, Vegas Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or Shotcut project instead of re-encoding a video.

    Frequently asked questions

    Is Bulkut really free?

Yes. Every tool is free and unlimited: no ads, no subscription, no account and no watermark. There is no server to run, so there is nothing to pay for.

Are my videos uploaded to a server?

No. FFmpeg is compiled to WebAssembly and runs in your browser, so files are read and written locally. The desktop build runs FFmpeg natively on your machine. There is no upload and no tracking.

    Does Bulkut work offline?

Yes. The web app works offline once the engine is cached by your browser, and the desktop builds are single executables that always run offline.

Is there a file size limit?

The classic page is limited by your browser's memory. The Pro page stores files with OPFS to lift the import size limit, and the desktop build reads videos straight from disk with no size limit.

    Which export formats are supported?

MP4 renders, plus editor timelines for Premiere Pro and Vegas Pro (XML), DaVinci Resolve and Final Cut Pro (FCPXML), and Shotcut (MLT).
