About Pokegg

Pokegg is an incremental clicker game where you hatch Pokémon eggs to collect and complete your Pokédex. Each click earns you Pokédollars, which you can invest in purchasing incubators and click multipliers to accelerate your progress.

Game Objective

The goal of Pokegg is to complete your Pokédex by hatching eggs and collecting all Pokémon. Each click generates Pokédollars that you can use to purchase incubators and multipliers in the shop.

Pokémon Rarities

Pokémon are distributed across 5 rarity levels: Common (easier to find), Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Legendary (rarest). The rarity of an egg affects the base number of clicks needed to hatch it.

  • Common (⭐): Base clicks: ~5
  • Uncommon (⭐⭐): Base clicks: ~20
  • Rare (⭐⭐⭐): Base clicks: ~45
  • Epic (⭐⭐⭐⭐): Base clicks: ~80
  • Legendary (⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐): Base clicks: ~125
  • Mythical (⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐): Base clicks: ~180

Pokémon Evolution

Evolved Pokémon forms (like Charmeleon or Charizard) only appear in the egg pool after you've caught their previous evolutionary forms (Charmander in this example). This encourages you to complete the full evolutionary lines.

Inventory & Shop

Use the Inventory to manage and activate your purchased items. The Shop allows you to buy Incubators (for auto-clicking) and Click Multipliers (to boost your earning per click) using Pokédollars.

  • Incubators: Generate automatic clicks. Stack multiple for faster progress.
  • Click Multipliers: Increase your earning per click (example: 2x = double earnings).

Incubator (Auto-Clicker)

Incubators automatically generate clicks at a set rate per second. You can stack multiple incubators to increase your auto-click speed. Incubators combine with your Click Power multiplier to maximize earnings.

Example: If you have 3 clicks/sec from incubators and 2x Click Power, you get 6 clicks/sec.

Redeem Code System

Use the Redeem Code page to enter promotional codes and unlock special rewards. Example: Use code STR4T to get Epic eggs and 150 Pokédollars!

Codes can be:

  • Promotional codes distributed during events
  • Cheat codes for testing
  • Special rewards from giveaways

Keyboard Shortcuts

On PC, use these shortcuts: Press Space or click the egg to hatch it. Press I to open Inventory. Press S or B to open Shop.

  • Space or click the egg: Hatch the current egg
  • I: Open Inventory
  • S or B: Open Shop

Mobile Interactions

On mobile, click the egg to hatch it. Swipe your hatched Pokémon to the right to trigger the next egg hatching (same as clicking Open another egg).

  • Tap the egg: Hatch the current egg
  • Swipe right: Open the next egg (requires 50+ pixels movement)

Idle Mode

Idle Mode automatically progresses to the next egg after 1 second if no new Pokémon popup appears. This is useful for hands-off gameplay. Activable in Options.

Sprite Versions

Change your preferred sprite style in Options. Choose between Classic (default 3D models), 5G Static (Black & White pixel art), or 5G Animated (animated Black & White 2 sprites).

  • Classic (Home): Modern 3D Pokémon models (default)
  • 5G Static: Black & White pixel art sprites (like DS era)
  • 5G Animated: Animated Black & White 2 sprites
